Rainbow Wrap Up

We finished up our Rainbow unit over the weekend with rainbow cupcakes.  A blast as usual.  Right into the freezer they went, they will come out, one at a time or for play groups for the kids to decorate.  I was impressed that we actually got red for the cake, that isn't easy.  Secret is to start with a dark orange then add red into that :)

On Saturday, Hannah had a daddy date day.  I was left around 9:30 in the morning to shampoo the front room, and then left to my book and a nap, then dinner, movie and grocery shopping with one of my great friends.  

Hannah had stories of train rides, bike rides, ice cream, bike stores, play grounds, grandpa and dancing.  She had an action packed day!  I think daddy enjoyed it too, hope they do it again soon!

Today was a fun day.  We started with a nice long walk with some good friends, a good play at the park.  Home for lunch, then some quiet time then back outside to enjoy the sun!  We now have 20 onions poking through, still waiting on everything else.
