Playing catch up!

Hello!!!

It is soo nice, this feeling of FINALLY being able to relax after the stress of our basement but I think, finally (knocking on wood), that it is done! Some stress over the weekend with alarms but all is quiet and working as it should now :)

Watching the cement truck that was here thursday morning. Had a hard time getting H out the door for school. Just wanted to stay home and watch :)
Taking a break this weekend to make some chocolates.
We had some errands to do today, H insisted on wearing her goggles to keep the snow out :)
The finished result of the basement. This is the really old side, just 1 foot of the border replaced with cement. Under is the new tile drain and in the corner, a subpump (white pipe going up). Sorry for the blur, shutterspeed a little slow in the dark and I was too lazy to get the tripod:)
And the main side, with another subpump in the corner and H's scooter. Walls will be put back up once we know for sure that there will be no flooding.

We had a great weekend. Relaxed, enjoyed company, listened to music, watched a little Lost, and Chad was rather productive. I supported him while he worked :)
