She did it!!!

I have not been posting a lot about our lessons, because a lot of it is still review from her K4 curric. For her Singapore math, our unit is # to 100, again review. 2 units left in the kindergarten level, odd/even numbers and fractions. I am torn as to if I will go over that now or wait till ABeka introduces it later in the school year, or in the next grade. May just see if she grasps it easily, then I will fly with it, if not, put it away till later (at least the even/odd).

We have continued to work on her cursive, which is all new to her, and today she attempted to write her name now that she has learned all of the letters to complete it. I think she did a pretty good job!

Our river as of yesterday. They had said that we were in risk of needing the dikes 1.5 feet higher than they are, I have a feeling that we are safe with the river that is expected to crest this weekend. They are expecting it to go down, then re-flood and have a second crest, possibly higher, next month. That is the bridge we use to get out of Henderson, if you look over to your left, you see the black, that is the road being blocked off to keep the water out.
