Flooding

Sorry I have been MIA, life has been so busy the past couple weeks, we are just cramming in lessons where we can! She is really starting to pick up on her reading, and I am loving that she will be looking at a book, or poster or sign and start yelling out words she knows :) It is moving beyond her readers, and into real life!

We are having record flooding right now, they say it peaked last night. Here is some video of it. In the spring, when flooding was 'bad' it was about 3 - 4 inches up the wall, in one corner. Now it is FEET above the road level. There is only one way out, and that is past us, and a simple run to Playschool is now over a 1/2 hr drive one way. This is now the 3rd time this year the walls had to be put up around town
